Leave the M1 at Junction 28, following the signs for the A38, aiming south-westwards, to Ripley, further taking the A610 to Ambergate and the A6 to Belper. Finally, take the A517 to Ashbourne. This road takes you into the town.

Leave the M1 at Junction 24A, following the A50, aiming westwards, towards Uttoxeter. At Sudbury, turn off the A50 onto the A515 for Ashbourne. This road takes you into the town.

Leave the M6 at Junction 15, following signs for the A50, aiming eastwards, towards Derby. At Sudbury, turn off the A50 onto the A515 for Ashbourne. This road takes you into the town.
